Casa Rosso is without doubt the most famous and well known of all the Amsterdam sex shows. Smaller than the towering pink neon sign outside suggests, Casa Rosso – which has been in business since the 70s – produces Amsterdam’s most well-known and longest-running erotic show. Even patrons who have been to strip clubs before probably haven’t seen the type of performances presented at this venue. Customers take their seats in a dark theatrical setting whose only light is the red and black glow over the stage, which is bare save for a couple of translucent stripper poles.
